My Interview With an Entreprenurial Website

I recently was interviewed for a website article on the kickers of earth brand. I wanted to share it with you guys as I’m grateful to have the opportunity to give some insight on why I created KOE!

What’s your business, and who are your customers?

I run a sports educational website catering to the football kickers and punters of the world. My customers are coaches, parents, and players.

Tell us about yourself

I started working on this business because I saw a severe lack between transparency and education for young athletes. There are a lot of coaches who will ask for payment before giving any type of coaching. I flipped that on its head and gave all my golden nuggets away for free for the people who don’t have the funds or live near a coach.

What’s your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Seeing some guys in a small town with little funding going to college by using some of the tips I’ve given as a way to improve their skills.

What’s one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Managing all of the tedious tasks that come with consistent growth. For me, it’s staying on top of the trends in the market to stay in front of my audience!

What are the top tips you’d give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You need to have a vision. There will be days when it will feel like you are not making any progress, so having a bigger vision for what you’re doing all of this for will help you keep moving forward.
  2. Be persistent because you’ll likely work for free for months and years before seeing any sort of financial gain, so it needs to be something that you love.
  3. Provide as much value as you possibly can without expecting anything in return. The more you give, success is just a byproduct.

My name is Eric and I have played football & soccer for over 17 years combined. During this time, I have invested countless hourse on my training and education in order to make myself the best version of an athlete I can be. From my training, I was able to earn a scholarship at a junior college, then transfer into a division 1 school where I earned my degree at no cost. Through this blog, I want to provide advice and tips on how to improve your health and fitness, increase your kicking power/accuracy, but also advice on how to conquer your mind. Enjoy the ride and let's get better together!
